Grad trip to Toronto!!!!
this year I am graduating from grad 8 and moving on to high school, to celebrate everyone in our class graduating our class will be going to Toronto for the day. we will be doing lots of different fun things throughout the day.
Our first stop will be the playdium, the playdium is the ultimate interactive, virtual and physical entertainment centre for energetic families. The 40,000 sq. ft. indoor complex features more than 200 high-tech attractions, rides and simulators. Playdium has an 11 acre out-door park featuring one of Canada’s longest Go-Kart tracks. Our Baseball Dome features 9 variable-speed Batting Cages and is open year round. Since we are only at the playdium for about 1 hour and a half, I am most excited to go on the XD Dark Ride, the XD dark ride is an interactive attraction with 3D movies, motion seats and special effects producing a rich multi-sensory experience!
Our second stop is the Ripley's aquarium, at the aquarium there is a world of 16,000 aquatic animals and discover your own underwater adventure. The Aquarium features North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel with more than 5.7 million liters of water and over 100 interactive opportunities. Get up close and personal with four touch exhibits featuring horseshoe crabs, sharks, scarlet cleaner shrimp, and rays as well as daily dive shows every 2 hours. What I'm most excited about is the dangerous lagoon, the dangerous lagoon is an exhilarating thrill you will never forget! there is a moving walkway that will transport you through an underwater tunnel, home to the Aquarium’s most fearsome-looking animals.
Our third stop is the CN tower, a little bit of history on the CN Once the pouring of the concrete was completed on February 22, 1974, the final stages of building the world's tallest Tower were about to begin. The last thing to be added to the Tower was the 102 meter (335 foot) steel broadcasting antenna, consisting of 44 pieces - the heaviest weighing 7.26 metric tonnes (8 tons). Today, the antenna broadcasts over 30 Toronto television and FM radio signals across Southern Ontario in addition to wireless paging and cellular telephone signals. The thing I'm most excited about at the CN tower is going all the way to the top of the CN tower and going on the glass floor with a view 342 m (1,122 ft) straight down.
Our forth stop is to shopsy's deli, Shopsy’s, the KING of Sandwiches. Since the early 1920’s, the Shopsy’s brand has set the standard for excellence and innovation. Blending deli classics with new and unique dining choices, Shopsy’s adds to a remarkable tradition as Canada’s leading restaurant and catering specialist (shopsy's deli. com). What I'm most excited about here, is DUHH to eat.
Fifth and final stop.
Our fifth and final stop of the day is to a blue jays game at the rogers center. The blue jays will be playing the new York Yankees, I am most excited to watch my favorite baseball play my least favorite baseball team. The Jays being my favorite. Hopefully the Jays will win the game with only nine innings, but you never know what could happen so we could be home as early as 1;45 or as late as 3;00. No matter what time we get home I know it is going to be a trip me and my friends will never forget.
