We are currently reading speechless in our class. For one of our tasks we had to make a anti bulling poster using pixton. In my poster its all about a girl who was getting picked on but then finally had enough courage to stand up for herself. In the book speechless Jelly had to make an anti bullying poster to and in his poster it said speak up, speak out so I decided to us that too.
To be proactive it means you have to take more than just initiative and to be more responsible. Being proactive means that when you are in a bad situation don't wait to respond to the problem until after the problem is over you need to control the situation while its happening. Being proactive is making good choices based on principles and values and not on our moods. People who are proactive know when to stay away from a problem, and also know when to not be a victims and know when to not blame others instead of themselves.

1. After reading this short story we have to critically think about mental health. Some of the main issues in this story relating
to mental health are the fact that everyone kept asking James why he moved schools and he didn't want to tell them. The reason
that this is an issues is because the reason he moved schools is very private and he doesn't want everyone knowing because he could be embarrassed of whatever he doesn't want everyone to know . He probably doesn't want to known as someone hes not and the reason why he moved schools maybe is something hes not proud of or doesn't want to be remembered by. Another issues from this story is how James
verbally abused his bus driver. The reason this is an issues is because the stress of all this change hes going through and all the other
kids wanting to know why he changed but he doesn't want to tell them all is building stress in James and then he just flipped out on his bus driver. That's not good because of two things one it's rude and James can get in a lot of trouble and in this case he did he got a
suspension. Two if he gets more and more stressed out this could happen again and again and he could keep getting into trouble.
example of what James could do to help with his mental health is he could tell his parents and they could talk to him them selves or if it's that bad they could take him to therapy and James could talk to a professional who knows what their doing.
